Those mental repercussions had never left her alone. She is still an undergraduate and a little more grave and thoughtful than the girls of her age. Sitting idly for the last ten minutes she found that there’s a need to make haste. It was her last test today, the final assessments and the crucial ones. But then her heart anchored with her thoughts sank down and she could do nothing than to remain seated as she was. Not that she hated studying but something about these course books and examinations brought her dismay. She had always been so careful and keen about her grades, had worked hard to keep her rank safe but somehow today she wished to quit, to unchain herself of these responsibilities she had to drag along with her.
Swayed down to the aisle of her childhood, she remembers the days when she was free, determined to chase her dreams and perhaps far happier. What had she turned into now is someone living with the brutal expectations of this world, the world which trampled down her aspirations underneath its feet. And now, the ambitious heart just lives to fill the bucket of those handsome grades, trying to make everyone around happy and leaving itself so unsatisfied. The second thought which went strong into her mind was about what was she up to, how would her life be if she kept moving ahead following the same old trail.
Willing to follow her heart, she had dreams to be lived with, skills to be enhanced, but now she finds herself useless and the weights of laziness and boredom made her to sit idle as she is sitting right now. Now, it’s not the time, days of dreams have passed away. Hopelessness prevailed; her brain betrayed her once again. She got up and left her room.
