As the first pale ray of sun gleams,
The chirpy cute feather balls open their eyes,
I step out of my gloomy abode.
The first breeze that blows over my face,
Gives me goosebumps and makes me shiver.
I soil my toes and stretch my arms,
To embrace the crude freshness of nature.
After the disgust and the despair of the past day,
A hope flutters its wings around me.
The dark cloud subsides, the day gets brighter,
I feel your pure, serene presence,
Hovering over me, outstretched as the sky,
Like a sweet smelling wind that brushes me and passes by.
The lament and agony, all washes away,
I find my soul upraised,
Join my hands and bow my head,
In your prayers that weave my spirit to that of yours.
I recollect myself and walk back,
Finally, I felt I am at no loss,
Because, you are my ‘Albatross’.
